A.R.P Head Stud & Nut Kit

The standard M12 head bolts are a stretch bolt reducing the clamping force on the gasket which can lead to head gasket problems over time.Obtaining the optimum cylinder head-to-block sealing is especially critical in turbocharged engines. That's why ARP® head studs are popular among leading Sport Compact/Import racers.ARP uses a premium grade 8740 alloy that is rated far superior to "aircraft" quality. Then, each stud is precisely heat-treated to 200,000 psi. Following heattreat, each stud is centerless ground to make it as close to perfectly concentric as possible.These studs are a must for anyone wanting to build a high power M12 V6 unit.
